Is your playroom’s dress-up bin overflowing? Or maybe your little one is still squeezing themselves into a too-tight princess gown! If you can relate...or if your child has already begun making Halloween costume requests (demands!), then mark your calendar for the rapidly-approaching APA COSTUME SALE!
Advent families are invited to shop our selection of gently-used costumes and accessories on Thursday, September 16th and Friday, September 17th during school drop-off and pick-up times.
Costume donations will be accepted on Monday, September 13th and Tuesday, September 14th. Be ready to find some good deals, as most costumes will be sold for $3, $5 or $10.
All proceeds will benefit Advent through APA events and projects like Farm Days, after-school play dates, and teacher recognition. Please understand that unsold items will not be returned to donating families. Any leftover costumes will be used in Advent classrooms or donated to charity.
This FUN-raiser is new for the 2010 school year, however, we anticipate a great response with donations and costume purchases. It’s a chance to clean out the playroom AND contribute to the school at the same time!
We also need VOLUNTEERS to assist throughout the week. If you are available to help on Monday 9/13 or Tuesday 9/14 with costume drop off, OR on Thursday 9/16 or Friday 9/17 with the sale, please email Mandy Schnittker at mandy.dennis@embarqmail.com
