Expression of Interest in Chairing a Committee 2012/2013

If you are interested in chairing one of the following committees for the 2012/2013 Board of Directors, please write your name below and check the box next to the committee in which you are interested. If interested in more than one position, please number in order of preference.

___ Fundraising Committee Co-Chairs --
__ Volunteer Coordinator Co-Chairs -- Head a committee that would coordinate volunteers for various projects around the school including play dough making, the helping hands project, and other fundraising and social activities.
___ Art Committee Co-Chairs --
__ Social Committee Co-Chairs-- Coordinate social events such as school-wide or age-specific play dates and other play dates/adult socials that you and the board decide to undertake.Coordinate the Square 1 Art fundraiser and two children’s art projects during the school year (the Christmas pennants and the Mother’s Day plates). The Advent Art Teacher and Director will assist you with directions and supplies. Coordinate Advent Parents’ Association fundraising projects (such as Fun Station, Jr, Red Elephant Day, Advent Cookbook sales, sales of Advent Brick pavers, and any other fundraisers you and the board decide to undertake) and oversee the volunteers who help with those events. The Silent Auction is a separate event, organized by the school, and would not be included in this position. ___ Grandbuddies’ Day Co-Chairs-- Oversee a committee to plan and coordinate a day for students’ grandparents to enjoy a catered breakfast or lunch, visit their grandchild’s classroom, and enjoy the Advent grounds in the spring.
___ Spring Into Summer Co-Chairs-- Oversee a committee to plan a fun Farm Days event for current students and future Advent students in the spring.
___ Teachers’ Appreciation Luncheon Co-Chair-- Oversee a committee to provide a catered lunch, fun games, and gifts for teachers and staff in the spring.
___ Box Top Coordinator-- Oversee all of the Box Top initiatives and enter codes for Advent.
