Advent Bricks are Back!
As you come and go at school, have you ever admired the beautiful engraved brick patio outside the Cooking window and wondered how YOU could get one? Well, here’s your chance to leave a mark on Advent …
In 2004, a group of Advent parents started a brick campaign to enhance the appearance of our school and to raise funds for needed projects and school improvements. Now, every few years we offer the opportunity to purchase these lovely bricks to honor your child, grandchild, family, teachers, and/or business. Many families list the years their children attended (or plan to attend) Advent, while some include a personal inscription.
Take advantage now, as the school won’t order bricks again until spring 2013! The bricks are 4” x 8” inches or 8” x 8” in size with a black epoxy fill that is guaranteed to last a lifetime. The cost of a 4x8 Individual Brick is $100, and the cost of an 8x8 Family/Business Brick is $200 (the same price as they were in 2004!).
If you would like to purchase a brick, please complete the order form on the reverse side of this form. Once you have decided on your desired inscription, take your completed form to either school office and have Cristene or Sandy sign it to verify the accuracy of your inscription on the brick. Completed forms need to be returned by Friday, April 1, 2011 with a check made out to Advent Parish Day School (marked “Bricks”).
Depending on the size of the order, the bricks will take anywhere from 30-45 days to be engraved and shipped. Once they have arrived, we will follow up with details about a “Brick Installation Party” to recognize all of this year’s participants!
